MakerSpace Curriculum for the Classroom Teacher

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Students and teachers love what MakerSpace has to offer a campus. However, many teachers struggle to make the connection between their own content and MakerSpace resources. Furthermore, if the librarian is not available, teachers will often avoid MakerSpace because they don't have time to master the multitude of tools and processes. How can teachers see MakerSpace as a viable resource for their classroom? What do they need to know about MakerSpace to ensure sucessful student products? How can we avoid placing the MakerSpace burden totally on the librarian? Come see how one campus is successfully bridging the gap between classroom content and MakerSpace.
